Using the .GBR Domain for Web 3 Strategy
Web 3 domains or blockchain domains, are the next evolution of Domains. They are unique blockchain powered domains represented by a single non-fungible token (NFT) that combine two essential elements—crypto wallet addresses that function as website domains, and can also act as generic signposts .
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) sets out internationally recognised codes, designated to each country and most dependent areas. Web 3 Domains have a minimum of 3 letters. GBR is the ISO 3 letter Country Code for the UK. Prime generic .GBR domains have a lot of value in providing branding and acting as signposts for niches for Web 3 Trade.

Glasgow.Trade Cluster
As Glasgow gears up for the 2026 Commonwealth Games, anything that helps to facilitate Glasgow supply chains should be welcomed. Potential suppliers—including very small, small and medium-sized businesses, and social enterprises would benefit from this.
This is proposed to integrate the Glasgow.Trade cluster which is proposed to help SMEs achieve a level playing field by using the TradeDigitization.com (TDC) Programme to facilitate Buying and Selling Groups, and facilitate receipt of Volume discounts that would not normally be available to SMEs.
Glasgow.Trade Buying Group Rationale
TDC is partnering with TradeKey, the world's largest B2B marketplace on the programme, so SMES could have access to suppliers through the programme and benefit from volume discounts that might not be available to individual SMEs.
Larger businesses will often benefit from supplier discounts, but when it comes to smaller, independent businesses, they may not have the same buying power due to them not needing items and services in such high volumes.
Buying groups work by bringing together several small businesses that wish to purchase supplies and services. This gives these small businesses the power to negotiate better prices with suppliers, as members of the buying group can come together and place one large order, benefitting from discounts and improving their overall bottom line.
Being part of a buying group means that SMES can stay more competitive by enjoying the same purchasing power of larger businesses. Using the TDC system to provide Volume discounts to members of the Buying Group means that this can be easily done on a retrospective basis once a volume threshold across the group is met across a specified period irrespective of when orders were placed
